Save Our Cemeteries!

As each day passes, older cemeteries are in danger of destruction.  Weathering, development, and vandalism are just a few examples of how a cemetery can be lost.  Protecting and preserving these older cemeteries will provide future generations with the knowledge of not only possible family ties, but of Arkansas history as well.

  1. I am trying to find the graves of John L. JACKSON and Andrew L. JACKSON who lived in Franklin County, Arkansas in Altus Township in the late 1800's to early 1900's. They both died there between 1899 and 1910. I don't know what exact cemetery they were buried in. Do you know anyone who has personal knowledge of the cemeteries in Franklin County, Arkansas? I have looked online at various sites with no luck. Please email me at jenicoe2001@yahoo.com. Thank you so much!
